Bookkeeper - Property Management

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is partnering with a growing property management company seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with strong software skills in Yardi, AppFolio, or QuickBooks. This role supports day-to-day accounting functions and plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records for multiple properties.

?? Key Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle bookkeeping for residential and/or commercial properties
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor invoices, tenant payments, and aging management
• Manage bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and general ledger entries
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and property-specific reporting
• Assist with rent rolls, tenant ledgers, and deposit reconciliation
• Maintain accurate records for CAM charges, move-ins/outs, and security deposits
• Handle vendor communication, work orders, and invoice follow-up as needed
• Support month-end and year-end close procedures
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper documentation across all accounting tasks

?? Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of bookkeeping or property accounting experience
• Experience with Yardi, AppFolio, or QuickBooks required
• Strong understanding of property management workflows (rent rolls, tenant ledgers, AP/AR, reconciliations)
• Proficient in Excel and general accounting software
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills and professionalism
